We will pick you up from your hotel between 08:00 – 08:30 for our tour that will start in Sultanahmet. Our tour starts with a visit to Hagia Sophia.
Our guide gives you information about the ancient history of Hagia Sophia for approximately 1.5 hours. Hagia Sophia Museum (The Church of the Holy Wisdom, which was built as the Cathedral of the Eastern Roman Empire in 537. Today, it is a museum where the remains of Christianity and Islam can be seen. It is currently on the World Heritage List. Later, we continue to the Topkapı Palace. The former residence of the (Ottoman) Sultans. and today it is a museum where the Treasury, Relics, Sultan's Mansions and Harem sections are located).
Our tour continues with a visit to the Sultan Ahmet Mosque. Sultan Ahmet Mosque or Sultanahmet Mosque was built by the Ottoman Sultan Ahmed I between 1609 and 1617 on the historical peninsula in Istanbul by architect Sedefkar Mehmed Ağa.
Our tour continues with our Hippodrome tour. Sultanahmet Square is a historical square located in the Binbirdirek district of Fatih district of Istanbul. It was called Hippodrome in Constantinople during the Byzantine Empire and Horse Square during the Ottoman Empire.
Another stop of our tour, the Grand Bazaar is located in the city center of Istanbul, in the middle of Beyazıt, Nuruosmaniye and Mercan districts, and is one of the largest and oldest covered bazaars in the world. There are approximately 4,000 shops in the Grand Bazaar and the total number of employees of these shops is approximately 25,000.
A nice lunch break where you can see traditional Turkish cuisine closely.
Our tour continues with a visit to Topkapi. It is the palace where the Ottoman sultans lived for 400 years of the 600-year-old Ottoman Empire and used as the administrative center of the state.
Our last stop is the Little Hagia Sophia Mosque; The church, which was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I and his wife Theodora between 527-536 under the name of Aya Sergios and Bachos Church, was built by Sultan II in 1497. Darussaade Agha Huseyin Agha.
Our tour ends at 16:30-17:00 (at the hotel) and you will be dropped off at the hotel.
